SHM's Standard Logger Range provides robust, reliable, cost-effective data logging for pulse-output meters.
The DL4 provides 4 independent pulse-counting channels with a capacity of 6000 readings each.
The UL8 provides 8 universal channels with a capacity of 3000 readings each. Universal channels can log analog quantities, eg. temperature, as well as pulse counts.
The UL24 provides 8 universal channels with a capacity of 6000 readings each and 16 pulse-counting channels with a capacity of 3000 readings each.
These data loggers are fully configurable via SHM's software utilities pack.
For monitoring water meters in meter pits or other hard-to-get-at meters, we can supply an RF Pulse Bridge.
SHM's Standard Loggers support a comprehensive range of communications options. Clusters of loggers can be networked together using RS485.
The logger communication protocol is designed to be efficient and minimize communications costs. To further reduce costs, we have various ways of sharing a telephone line or modem with another device.
We also have our own easy-to-use Energy Monitoring Software specifically for SHM loggers. XLeMs produces Reports and Charts in the form of Microsoft Excel workbooks.
For large-scale or multi-vendor Energy Monitoring Systems we recommend Reality from Stark Software International, which is fully compatible with all SHM loggers.
